Tata Steel Distribution UK and Ireland is committed to working with the communities around our sites and supporting our employees in their volunteering and charitable activities.
The vision of our parent company, Tata Steel, is that businesses exist to support the communities they operate in. We believe by establishing solid working partnerships we can develop long-term relationships with our local communities that will be beneficial for all concerned.
We are keen supporters of the Young Enterprise Company Programme in the West Midlands, and also support a new approach to work experience being piloted by one of our local schools. Our work with this project was recognised with an award in 2009 from Walsall Borough Council
In Ireland we are delighted to support the Special Olympics plus many other charities identified by our employees.
